The company’s move is primarily aimed at challenging established players like Tesla and BYD in China, offering a competitively priced alternative. The car’s design takes inspiration from the renowned Italian car manufacturer Porsche, boasting a stylish look sure to attract interest. With a single charge, the car can cover an impressive distance of 700 kilometers.

Having announced plans in 2021 to invest $10 billion in manufacturing electric vehicles, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei expressed the challenges of entering the electric car market. However, the company has managed to create an affordable option, considering the needs of all customers, aiming to drive forward the electric vehicle industry.

As of now, Xiaomi has not disclosed any plans for selling this car outside of China.
